Meal Resources for Families

Students currently approved for Free school meal benefits based on their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) eligibility will continue to receive a free breakfast and lunch daily on school days at Higley Unified School District.

These school meal benefits are not impacted by the suspension of November SNAP benefit monies due to the current government shutdown.

If your family has been affected by the government shutdown, we encourage you to re-apply if your income has decreased.

Families can re-apply for free/reduced meal benefits at any time during the school year by completing another application at https://linqconnect.com.

If you are in need of additional meal assistance during this time, 2-1-1 Arizona has a variety of resources in our area including food banks that can provide meals for free.

If you would like to assist those in need during this time, our #HigleyHelps district-wide service initiative is a great place to start. Many of our schools are hosting food drives and other events to provide for our community. Visit the #HigleyHelps page of our website to see a list of service projects happening now, or to connect with one of our schools.

Meal Payments
Pay Here  menus

**You can avoid convenience fees by adding money via check or cash in person at the school. School cafeteria managers at all HUSD schools accept pre-payment via cash or check before school starts or before lunch. (Please make the check out to: HUSD Food & Nutrition. Please also add the school name, student name, student ID# to the memo line - this is the most secure way to pay in person).

If you choose this method to add money to your student account, you can still monitor the transactions and balances using linqconnect.com or the LINQConnect app
